It is renowned for its confusing streets, elaborate architecture, hopping markets, and extensive cultural history. The Fes Medina offers several highlights, some of which are listed below:

Al Quaraouiyine University and Mosque: One of the oldest continuously running educational institutions in the world, this mosque and university complex was founded in the ninth century. 

Medersa Bou Inania is a spectacular madrasa famed for its elaborate tilework and beautiful architecture.

Chouara Tannery is a great location to see the old-fashioned tanning procedure. You can see how craftsmen use techniques that have essentially not changed throughout the years to dye and treat leather.

Fes el-Bali Gates: A well-liked access point, the Bab Bou Jeloud gate is exquisitely decorated with blue tiles. Dar el-Makhzan palace is very interesting to explore. Wake up early in the morning for the beautiful sunrise. After a delicious breakfast, return to Merzouga town by 4×4 and kick start our journey to explore the region of Merzouga which has so many incredible sites, from sand dunes , wild lake, mines, fossils to fabulous Oasis. First, we will start our journey by driving off-road to visit an ancient eyeliner mine. Then we pay a visit to nomads , in their handmade woven tent. Learn how they live while drinking Berber tea. Our next destination is the Khamlia village, where you will enjoy the Gnaoua Music, and dancing performances. Its inhabitants are originating from sub-Saharan countries like Mali, Sudan and Niger. Free time for lunch in a local restaurant, eat delicious Berber Pizza. After that we will take a stroll in a palm tree grove. Then drive a few kilometers to see the wild lake of Merzouga, also called flamingos lake. Overnight in Merzouga town.
