Fes – Ifrane –Cedar Forest – Midelt – Merzouga
After your breakfast, our team will pick you up from your Hotel/ Riad and kick-start our journey from Fes toward the captivating Sahara Desert. First, we will pass through Ifrane, the Switzerland of Morocco. This is a winter ski resort built by the French in the 1930s to resemble a Swiss village.
We will continue our journey through the Cedars Forest where you will see the Barbary macaques, a special breed of Monkey in Morocco. then drive across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most of the day will be spent winding your way through the beautiful forests, springs, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend towards the Sahara Desert.
Halfway, you will stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks, then continue towards Merzouga on the road. Stop to get a panoramic view of a huge oasis of the palm trees and reach Merzouga in the afternoon. After having some mint tea, the guide and camels will be waiting to carry you across the sandy dunes of the erg-Chebbi. Enjoy the beauty of the sunset on the camel and after 1-hour, you will reach the desert camp to spend the night in a Berber tent. At your desert shelter, your camels are hobbled, and mint tea is served. After a wonderful dinner, watch the stars until you fall asleep.

Day 2 : Merzouga – Todra Gorge - Dades Valley
Early morning after your delicious breakfast at your camp, we will return to Merzouga town via 4×4 car ride.
We will embark on a scenic route to Boumalne Dades, passing through Rissani, the very traditional Moroccan market open on Tue, Thu and Sunday, here where it feels like you’ve taken a time machine back to the past. After that we will arrive at the stunning Todra Gorges, where there is a series of limestone river canyons, or wadi, in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco, near the town of Tinghir. Following a leisure walk along the Todra River , we continue on a picturesque road trip through the Dades Valley , where there are breathtaking views of rock formation known as “ Monkey fingers”. In the evening, you arrive to a comfortable hotel / riad and enjoy a nice dinner in the heart of Dades Valley.

Day 3 : Dades Valley – Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast in the mind-blowing view of Dades canyon, depart for Ouarzazate via the rugged Road of a Thousand Kasbahs that rise like turreted sandcastles along this ancient caravan trading route. In Ouarzazate, you have the option to visit the Atlas Studio, the “Hollywood of Africa” at your own expenses.
Estimates arrive at Ait Ben Haddou during lunch time. After lunch, we will visit the famous Kasbah, declared UNESCO World Heritage and which was the scene of films like The Gladiator, Babel, and Lawrence of Arabia, Game of Thrones as Yunkai City etc.
After visitation to the Kasbah, continue our journey to Marrakech. We will pass through the High Atlas and the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, along a road that climbs from the plains up to 2260m above sea level through small villages and waterfalls as well as the continuously changing landscape and colours of the beautiful mountains.
Return to your hotel or riad in Marrakech at the end of the day. Today marks the conclusion of your memorable Sahara tour with us.

Day 2 : Merzouga – Khamlia – Nomad villages – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga
We will wake up early to see the spectacular sunrise over the dunes before making our way back to the hotel for a shower. and After breakfast heading to Khamlia village to enjoy live Gnawa music, continue through an off-road route to have a tour of sand dunes then stop to have tea with nomads in Berber tents. You will discover a new sense of life. From there back to the hotel enjoy a nice Moroccan dinner.

Day 3 : Merzouga – Erfoud – Errachidia -Midelt – Ifrane – Fes
Wake up early in the morning, and after breakfast you will depart to Errachidia via Erfoud, Ziz Valley and the same route as day 1 to return to Fes. We will have lunch break, stop for shopping (optional at your preference ) along the way back. Transfer to your hotel/ Riad when we arrived Fes and the end of a truly memorable Sahara Desert tour.
